Ubi Caritas by the Cambridge Singers

Thought this was an appropriate piece to feature on this blog, as "caritas" is what our community is about. And do NOT translate it as "charity", as that is totally inaccurate.

Missie / What comes next

On both Facebook and her blog, Missie has told us of her day - which she refers to as being "not a good day". I call it a day from hell. Please call round. Having to cope with two cats having to be put down and her hubby's grandmother about to pass away is enough if not too much for anyone.

Mik / Diary of Rock-n-Roll Men

Mik has had to tell us that his sister Terri has to undergo a double mastectomy. Please call round.

Morton / Caring n Sharing

Mort has called time on his blog Caring n Sharing (for the foreseeable future), but is continuing to post on Facebook - so (as I told him on FB) I'm not unduly worried. Call round to the blog nonetheless and bid Mort farewell from a blogging point of view.

Sonya / The Mellow Pages

Sonya has requested prayers - so please call round.

Monae / Dear Diary

Monae had an accident over the weekend and hurt her mouth. Please call round. (copied onto FB page)

Call for Support on Facebook

This site now has a Facebook offshoot, so check it out and (if you want) join.
Bearing in mind that so many bloggers have joined Facebook, and are in fact posting more there than on their blogs, I thought it would be a good idea to set up the FB equivalent.

I have also taken the opportunity to change the lay-out, in order to enhance legibility.

Nelishia Whittemore

Nelishia, who used to keep a private blog in J-land, has suffered a bereavement: her mother passed away on October 6th. Nelishia has attended the funeral and has now returned home. I shall alert Nelishia to this posting, so please leave comments on this post for her to read. If you're on Facebook and are "friends" with her, please call round here. An on-line obituary has been published on this link.

With thanks to Robyn Lennes
