Dormant blogs

I repeat an earlier appeal for links to dormant blogs that people want preserved.
I also need to know whether it is OK to download blogs by deceased writers. So far, I have the following names:

Lahoma - mzgoochi
Kim - demandnlilchit
Jim - halliday0957
Barbara - babeboo73
Pennie - penniepooh
Pam - his1desire

Decisions may already have been posted elsewhere, but I need a central point to post this, so here goes.

I have a piece of software that allows me to download a journal. We can take a decision on the downloaded journals later.

Here is Walt. The Diatom Project. His widow has asked and given permission for this to be saved. (via phone with me)

Hi hon, could you save Rene's journal as well. Her journal was Meet Me at the Breakfast Table. Thank you for doing this for us. You have been nothing short of a compassionate and understanding friend, to those of us who have had the pleasure of reading you. I'm including a link for you:

I have posted a few of Pamela's entries over here: http://remembering-pamela.blogspot.com/

There may be more people want to save from her journal. But you might want to take a look.

How awesome that you are able to save that persons words for them to continue to be someone else's strength. I read Kim and Irene's journals so I know what all they went through. I look forward to hearing if you are able to transfer them.
Take care, Chrissie

This is great, and I hope it works even after the journal is deleted. Is there any way you can test that?
